What is a Punt Boat?

A punt boat or open boat is a flat bottomed boat, identified by its square cut bow. Punt boats are designed to be used in shallow water areas such as small rivers or lakes. These lake boats can be propelled by connecting a boat oar to the vessel or by adding an engine.
